I'm just going by the XJ's factory specs dude. Softer fasteners (Grade 5 and Class 8.8) will yield and deform under constant punishment. EG washers get smushed, threads stretched.

Nobody said Grade 5 had no purpose. It was said that Grade 5 doesn't belong in suspension components like CAs and leaf eyes.

Help. This is the correct ujoint but there is space between the cap retainers.

Spicer joint? Perhaps the yoke is tweaked.

Yeah I ended up shimming the gap with a quarter and ordered the iro HD yoke with u bolts

haha that how i have my lower ac vent held in position, its too loose to hold its self out

yeah lol I am ready, I'm just buying the parts and having a shop do the work, and the reason I asked was because on the part description for the control arms it said "front or rear lower control arms" so my bad,
