He pre-approved the lift, the WJ is surprisingly low to begin with and he can step in/out without climbing. I mainly need more chassis clearance for deep sand and marsh areas. Once the chassis is grounded, self-extraction becomes near impossible.
The XJ had 5" lift, taller tires, and a smaller entry/exit.

Well, here's what I did this past Labor Day weekend. Friday night turned into a full brake line install, then saturday morning started removing everything, ran into the dreaded shackle nut breaking in the frame so that took a while. Then finished putting evering on Monday to net a 6.5" lift from a bastard pack and ACOS coil spacers. Extremely happy with the size of the lift and the fact i did it all. Having a hydraulic lift and just about every tool under the sun to my disposal sure helped too...

I used the full s10 leafs under my XJ main with 2" drop shackles. Got the bonus length and the shackles turned my axle up to give me better drive shaft angle

those 33s are more like 32s, BFG MTs are more 33s then their ATs for some reason.

Thought yours was already lifted?..
About to install their 6.5" LA kit on my buddy's 86 MJ. The components don't seem to be a bad quality. I just dont like the looks of his "upgraded" steering.
