I have heated WJ leather seats in mine and they are very comfortable. Definitely recommend them.

The issue with the ZJ rear bench in an XJ is that you lose a ton of headroom.

Same. To wit, that would actually give them a better view of the road/trails and therefor something to look at lol

Here my pics of both front and rear ZJ Seats in my 93. Full POWER seats too. If anybody wants specific pics or to know how I did it just let me know. Also, my passengers, most over 6 feet tall never had problems with head room, including me, am I'm 6'1"

Edit: that tool box pic is not suppose to be there. Lol

Right on. If all goes according to plan, I should have a set of powered cloth ZJ seats for 30 bucks this weekend.

im somewhat tempted to switch to leathers since seat heaters will be more effective and easier to clean off, but im not a fan of sticking to leather in texas heat either

It's funny, everyone always says stuff like that, but we've had leather seating in 5 of our last vehicles (including my wife's current) and we've never "stuck" to the seats. You don't sit naked in your Jeep do ya?

Anyway, with tinted windows, they really don't get that hot. And we've had tan, grey, and black leather.. so it's really not dependent on color.

Yeah I have to agree here, mine really dont ever get that hot and the benefits far outweigh the heat. Also, make sure you work some leather care into them a bit, really makes them more comfortable.

My favorite part is being able to slide in and out unlike the clothe seats that kinda of grab you. And I never stick to the seats so not sure what you mean there. Lol
