Just re-read your reply to my other post in the craiglist thread and realized that you were talking about the gauge cluster and not another full xj. When I get paid again I will see how much money I have to offer and will let you know. Thanks.

I'd take it back to autocrap and get one from Advance Auto or O'Reillys don't trust anything electrical from autojunk I just replaced 3 alternators in a week before I took it back and went across the street to advance auto

Finally started retrofit #2. This one is giving me a much harder time than my first, but that just adds to the fun I guess haha. I got as far as getting the projector to fit, lots of sanding on this one.

Replaced the heater core inlet joke with a 3/8" MPT/5/8" barb brass fitting and some hose from the hardware store. Hold coolant and it doesn't overheat! Thank you to whoever originally came up with this, but all I could find was djb383.

Tested this by taking Tractor Jeep for a rip around the farm!

It pulls to the left. Hmmm what's that smell? Is that smoke?

What are you doing for quick-disconnect hold straps or brackets?

The JKS ones ship with a mounting thingy (the bushing on the quick disconnect slides over it, and you just use the pin to keep it in place), BUT it is for a Wrangler and not an XJ

I took my Jeep to Line-X of the Bronx over a week ago and just got it back after the owner did a phenomenal job on it! One guy wanted to buy the XJ on the spot while one of his mechanics has purchased a bone stock XJ to upgrade. If you live in the northeast, check his shop out in Walden, NY (they'll be moving there at the end of the month).

My XJ with the Line-X treatment next to the owner's wife's Jeep.
