I had a cobra 18 with weatherband in my 93 police package. Installed it in the single din where the radio was supposed to go. Just listened to weather reports on the way to work lol.

I installed fog lights in my 08 grand. Very simple and the wiring was already there. I jumpered the spot in the underhood box for the relay and boom, they lit right up. The relay is triggered by a ground signal as there is 12v there all the time. All this canbus stuff makes simple things a bit more complicated. I would have to replace the whole multifunction switch and get the pcm flashed by the dealer to activate them in the stock way. too much money unless I can get it flashed for free, but that is doubtful around here. Im thinking of grounding the relay activation permanently and having the 12v supplied by a jumper off the parking lamps. Then they would go on automatically with my headlights. And the computer would be taken out of the equation completely, i think. There is the possibility that the computer (canbus) would notice the extra current draw of the relay and give me an error code. I could also just leave it as is and add a switch that simply supplies a ground to the relay but then Id have to remember to turn them off all the time as there is 12v all the time at the relay activation side and the load side.

Thanks! I thought the same but it actually doesn't feel any different heat-wise. I have to tint the drivers and passenger side windows and I'm good. I'm just glad I don't have leather seats!

When you put the key in the door, the "tab" on the door panel stays to the locked position, but really the door is always unlocked. You can turn the key and feel the levers moving, but the lock won't click into the locked position. I THINK the motor for the power drive door is bad and stuck in position.
Hey I wish I could join you! It's a little over three hours from where I'm at. And yes, like you, music is mandatory for that long *** ride.

Anyone here running the WJ brake upgrade? I know you need 16" rims to run it but since I have wheel spacers would I be okay?

you dot technicly need 16" wheels if your running steel 15x18 with at least 3.75 back spacing,(i have enough clearance in mine)

but alloy wheels dont typically clear

I am currently running the canyon wheels with 12.5 wide tires and 1" spacers. You think I would be able to run them? The wheels are either 5.5 or 5" backspacing due to them being TJ or Zj canyons.

im going to say no on that one, maybe with 2.00" spacers you'd clear the alloy.

but maybe some one else has tried it with that combo and prevailed

heres some non wj brake options:

Went to take the jeep to home depot since i had the day off and the kids were at school but the jeep had other ideas. Starter took a **** at wawa so I had to get a ride home then go back with truck and trailer to pick it up. Used the winch to pull it on since it wouldn't start. Going to change the starter tomorrow.
