Just finished replacing the starter. It wouldn't engage at 4 am when I was tried to go to work so I had to commandeer my wifes car for the day. New starter and it fired right up.

Yeah, I considered replacing with a replacement 195 thermostat. Just decided to go with the lower temp. I talked with another Jeep buddy and pulled the trigger on the lower one. I didn't think it could hurt. We shall see, right?

Prepped the green gremlin for this weekends trip down to Uwharrie. Put together the oh **** bag, packed what little I need. Is it sad that Im taking more for the jeep than I am for me? Checked all fluids and the tires.
On a different note, some idiot flying through the parking lot clipped my truck as I was backing out yesterday after work. Luckily, in the old days they built vehicles out of metal so it only dented my bumper a little bit.

I took the Jeep out to an event in New Jersey, Jeeps Against Cancer. Saw LOTS of interesting Jeeps out there, mostly Wranglers. But when I spotted an XJ, I had to talk to their owners.
My ride before heading out to Jeep Flow's Jeeps Against Cancer event.
I was invited by the Line-X crew who had four spots reserved for us.
My friend's drone captured me and a friend in front of my XJ.
Of all the XJs I saw, this was one of the best! This guy has been painstakingly modding his ride for the past 16 years! He even converted it from an automatic transmission to a manual. Very impressive build.
Despite the derision by many of the new Cherokee, this guy really had it decked out and boasted about being able to handle tough trails in Rausch.
