Leaf springs out! You want to know the hardest part? The tow hitch and fuel tank skid plate. Those aren't going back in due to many broken bolts. Nutsert time, I guess too.

Worked on my sister's XJ since my is still MIA. Replaced her steering fluid and topped off the coolant. Coolant looked murky so I'll probably drain and refill. Hers is a 2001 with only 93K miles on it.

Her steering feels thicker than mine. Like stirring honey. Any thoughts on how to remedy?

Nut strips for the hitch? I have the JCR ones in mine.

Decisions... My stock linkage sucks at 4.5" of lift. Constantly pops out of 4 low.

Replaced my old motor mounts with some Ironman4x4 Motor mounts. I hightly recomend a good pry bar and a big 3 1/2 ton jack. I started with small 2 1/2 ton jack from Oreillys and it was not enough. I didnt want to buy a pry bar so I used my old tie rod, not the best. Got done tho!

Her trim is definitely sun bleached. her sits down on the jersey shore all summer and you can see it when you look at the front and rear end caps. I was actually just thinking to myself today that I wanted to spray paint them black

This...Remove the rear bumper to access the strips...I made my own, and made them much beefier:

A guy on ebay made them. Believe his company is Circle S Industries.
I bought them when he had them in stock months ago.
