Had safety and emissions done. Passed but found my left ball joint boot has torn☹️

STARTED THE JOB OF REPLACING LEAKING VC GASKET WITH A FEL-PRO AND PAINTING VC. STARTED LATE SO RAN OUTTA DAYLIGHT. LETTING VC SOAK IN PURPLE POWER AND DAWN DISHSOAP. WILL BE BACK TOGETHER TOMORROW MINIS PCV VALVE N GROMMET AND BREATHER ELBOW AND GROMMET.

thanks for the nice close up look. this 4.0 is new to me and i like to get a look. lotsa good oil ? kept it clean , wow no sludge..

New cold air intake. Just need to make something to hold it off the body.

The factory air cleaner pulls from the same location, air behind the headlight

The difference is negligible at best. The stock airbox is pretty efficient.

Finished up my cargo shelf that I've wanted since I put a 32" spare tire back there. Cost me $42 and about 4 hours. I'm no carpenter, but I can sit on it and it doesn't bow...so mission accomplished. Added D ring tabs to tie stuff down as well.
