I had Mastercraft Courser AT2's as my first AT tire. Took my old XJ up to WV for a week and they did great in the snow. One of Coopers better brands.

Got it running again after accidentally dumping in gas with high water content a couple days ago. Lucky for me it has a new battery. Let it warm up a bit and realized that part of the problem must have been ice inside the fuel injectors. I have to say, the 4.0L sounds pretty good running on 5-ish cylinders!

One of my friends that works at Pep Boys was tellin' me that either Definity or Futura was a Cooper brand... that true?

If I'm not mistaken Toyo is partnered with goodyear but Japanese built. Otherwise Cooper partners with/produces something like 27 other brands.

Well that's good to know. I really liked that Wild Country MTX I had on the Jeep before these ****ty Nankangs that I have now.

Toyo is partnering with many manufacturers. You are correct that Goodyear is one. Cooper is making the Open Country model for Toyo. Just look at their ProComp Sport AT model.

Ah, gotcha, good to know. It gets confusing trying to decipher all the different manufacturers who partner together. I guess the only real way to figure out where your tire is produced is looking at the manufacturing code on the sidewall.

Removed the factory T-case skid plate because my transmission mount is so bad the T-case popped it off on one side -.- really need to replace all 3 mounts but they are on hold for now :/

For what it's worth, I'll be trying Cooper S/T Maxx next. If I were buying a MT tire, it'd be the Cooper STT Pro. They're the best value tires I've found for my application. Many positive reviews and $1,000 cheaper for a set than some of the alternatives.

Goodyear and Cooper are the only US companies. It gets complicated for a couple reasons. First, because they own so many subsidiary companies. Secondly, not all of their tires are made domestically. Finally, many foreign tire companies do manufacture some of their products in the US.
For what it's worth, I'll be trying Cooper S/T Maxx next. If I were buying a MT tire, it'd be the Cooper STT Pro. They're the best value tires I've found for my application. Many positive reviews and $1,000 cheaper for a set than some of the alternatives.
