Dropped it off at the muffler shop yesterday. Doing the downpipe to the tip. I forgot to ask them to do two 45s in the downpipe instead of one 90. Hopefully I'll remember to call them Monday morning. I'm also hoping that it doesn't end up being too loud.

Youtube is a great motivator.
Yeap, new here. Yeap, been checking out the youtube. Yeap, been researching the cherokeeforum. I am well above the average joe when it comes to mechanical ability, welding, and fabrication. Done all of it professionally throughout my 58 years on this earth but today, I learned how out of touch and shape I am in. lol. Got the RC 3" lift kit for my 86 Cherokee in yesterday and decided to install it today. Well, long story a little shorter, I got the passenger side almost done, got the lower control arm on and the sway bar spacers in place and finally the factory coil spring out. Tomorrow is another day and probably more mental torture proving that I can't do everything as easily as I used to with floor jacks and jack stands. I may never be the same. Soldier on. Have a great weekend all.

pulled the gas tank, drilled a hole for the gm evap sensor, extended the fuel tznk vent for more fuel capacity, ordered new fill and vent lines, ordered a fuel pump strainer.
still need to plum/wire in the walboro 255lph fuel pump, wire the evap sensor/vent valve, mount vent valve and plumb purge valve.
and plenty of other stuff but this is what im focused on right now haha

RC 3" Install update
First and foremost thanks for the welcome from 00 xj and curry. Got the front end done for the most part. have a weird thing with the passenger side coil spring, it appears to be rubbing the bump stop. Not to the point of not functioning but rubbing none the less. the spring is seated in the bottom as indicated but the retaining bolt is not long enough to put the holding clamp on. Went ahead and tightened everything up. don't know if i should rotate the spring or what, maybe someone here has dealt with this already. Planning on moving to the rear end with a bastard pack tomorrow. got the leaf spring from RC but they say it will only gain 1 1/2" to 2" so I'll probably use it somewhere in the pack but.......I"ll figure it out. If anyone has a clue on the bump stop, coil spring interference, I'm listening. Hope all had a great weekend Jeeping while I was working. lol

There are people who live for answering tech questions. However, this is the non-technical side of the forum. So your question will not get much "technical" traffic here. If you post there, you will have much better luck at getting the right answer and getting quicker.
