Took it out for a quick trail ride yesterday. Got her nice n muddy for the first time in awhile.
Washed it this morning then spent a couple hours in my dorm parking lot removing my JCR frame reinforcement plates. I plan on bringing them into my welding class and modifying them to have d-ring brackets and a brace between them.

Got everything buttoned back up and took it around the block and up to my test area. It rides so much better its not even funny. Feels like it cut the spring rates in half. So all that is good. The shackles however, bottom out on the relocation box before max compression. I had a good feeling that it was going to happen. So I will just wait until the new shackles come in and then call phase 1 of the Jeep done. New shackles should also drop me another inch. Still sits a little high in the rear.

I finally painted the jeep. I couldn't get over the different doors, so here it is now
Before:
masked off:
First coat:
All done:
I've wanted to do this since I first bought it
(it came with the white doors, the original doors were damaged)

Got the oil changed, chassis lubed, and checked diff, transfer case, radiator, etc levels.
