My wife informed me at ~10:00 last night that we were out of dog food. I dragged myself off to Wally World to rectify the problem. While there, I stumbled into a 2" receiver cargo rack on clearance for $17. Turned out to be a fortuitous visit.
Got my watered down oil changed, hope it will hold up a couple more weeks til I get a chance to change the head gasket.
Wait, you talking bout DRIVING IT for a couple weeks on a bad head gasket?
If you're getting water in your oil, STOP DRIVING IT till you can fix it. otherwise you're looking at an engine overhaul instead of just a head gasket.
Power locks completely refurbished, working great (minus one door Lock rod clip that is zip tied right now - tbd)
Soundqubed 8" installed in a cubby Enclosure. Still breaking in, but backed by a 600w RMS Pioneer amp. Sound deadening in the rear quarter area, and did the front two doors as well. Holy crap, what a difference. Still need to make a speaker grille for it, wrapped in speaker cloth to make it more stealth.
Pounds F-ing hard for an 8" and still have the gain set very low. Now, to trace the rattles (already found one, some weird BB in the rear pass seat belt mechanism, related to the auto tensioner. Fixed with a generous amount of grease)
Finally got around to installing one of those GM trouble lights. Quick run to Ace hardware for some stuff, tabbed up a bracket, and wired it up. Feels extremely stable (literally no wobble) but I might get a longer bolt and use some RTV to lock it in place (using the stock mounting location). Now I just need an LED to put in there
I used Noico 80mil thick deadening. Worked great - used a heat gun because I installed it at night (about 35-40*F). Stuck just fine with minimal surface prep (used isopropyl alcohol to wipe everything down). Used a screwdriver handle and the round head of my ball-peen hammer to press it down firmly. Thing sounds like a tank inside now.
36 sq-ft was good for pretty much full coverage of the rear quarter panel and front doors. I did the backs of the door panels as well because the carpet stuff started to disentigrate

Thanks for the review on the Noico. Been waffling between Dynamat and that. Putting in an overhead console, have to pull door panels to install Infinity Tweeters, remove the plastic rear hatch cover to track down a leak so was thinking of doing something while I was there. Did you just do 25% coverage like many people say to do?
Almost got my Hooker cat-back installed but rust. Looks like the nuts that hold the pipe to the cat were welded on, but no, they just rust melted. Gonna have to cut them out. That curbed the install for the day as I can't do it unless I know I can finish it in a few hours. Gotta drive to work tomorrow. Lol.
throw a pad down and some kinda of strap, and that would make for one hell of a spot to ride during a mud adventure there.... Back in the days we use to ride on the outside of a 50 something stepside, hanging onto the bed during a mud adventure. Yeah we were lucky no one got really hurt! Sure was fun though...

After of neglecting it for 3 weeks after a distributor issue finally found TDC and got the Jeep running this past weekend. Feels great having it running again.
Started to install cruise control. I don't have the 3 bolts to attach the actuator to the Jeep. Or the vacuum line to the actuator. Or the blank "switches" on my steering wheel. So going to a junk yard tomorrow morning... Hopefully the close one that has one 2000 jeep has what I need.
