Washed it. No time for waxing, but it cleaned up OK.
This is pretty much an exercise in futility this time of year though. By tomorrow this vehicle will be covered with pollen and tree debris again.
Also tried out the rope trick on the door seals. It does seem to reduce the amount of wind noise.

Had a really productive evening. Got the head off. Looks like somebody used stop leak at some point as the holes in the head gasket were stopped up which caused it to blow. Head looks fine but it's off to my machinist to have the new valves and springs put in and shave the head 10 thousandths.
also tries removing the lifters but to no avail. Any tips?
got the new front lift springs in and I'm loving where it sits.
Out with the old in with the new
Removed the stock springs and 2" spacers and Intalled the new RE 4.5"xj springs
The xj springs should net me 3.5"-4" of lift. I havent measured but its a big difference
Good help is hard to find. I was bolting the shock back on, heard him laughing, turn around to see this and he yells " LOOK! I'M IRON MAN!!!" And to think, this is the best man in my wedding.....

The rear will have to wait til Friday to be installed. I need to get new shocks and I'm going to move the track bar. Is it the same process in the rear as in the front?
Got the jeep back on all-4's for the first time since December. 3-link is in, rough alignment is done, and it drives! Getting an alignment done this week, have to finish the bumpers and she will be ready for some shakedown runs.
No, I don't lick fish.

Today I thoroughly cleaned out the fins. I sprayed them out a few days ago, but its amazing how much dirt was in there before a good cleaning. I made sure the water went all the way through. Drove across town after doing that and didn't have to kick both fans on at all
lol... the addiction GROOOOWS!
DROOL!!!!
Replaced old, hard, worn-out, ovalled swaybar bushings w/ Moogs.
And they look so purdy in blue.
One more link in the chain taken care of and a noticeable difference in steering/handling.
