Thinking $100 is pretty reasonable. Nice score. Don't you just love the "Hell Yeah" score at the boneyard.

I will look into it. If I didn't have so many other projects going on I would build my own. Just never enough time in the day...

I installed new (taller) rear shocks. Stock is 18". I installed 20.5's and also installed a 2" rear shackle lift. In all. It actually raised the rear about 1 & 3/4". It's not much but, I like the stance & the ride better!

After shackle & shock lift.

Default New seats

I installed my new to me Cherokee seats and raised the rear of my hood 1in for airflow. Picked up a set of 2 door Cherokee seats for 100$. Different color, but they don't look too bad. Way better then the 4 door seats that were in there, you couldn't get in the back seat.
Cut 2 pieces of 1in square tube and drilled some holes.
Poor mans cowl hood!

Worked the one piece windows out from the inside, starting at one corner:

I used some thin cord pushed into the gasket all around, wiped all surfaces with silicone spray, got the bottom in first then worked the gasket all around as I pulled the cord into the vehicle. Set the gasket perfectly. Easy

I like those Canyons you have on your XJ. I wanted a set of those but got a good deal on a full set of Grizzly's.

I'm surprised I found any at all. I'd have gladly paid twice that, as they brought the 2-door's "cool" factor way up

I wish I could find a set of those rear quarter vents for that cheap. Especially with the more rare "mirrored" glass.

I've passed up about 4 sets over the last six months at the local JYs. If you can cover the cost and shipping I will snag a set for you next time there's one available. Almost tempted to get myself some as I will be going two door when my body beat to hell.

Off next week so today is the first day of "Project Jeep Week". Of course it is going to be the lousiest week possible as far as rain goes. Got the driver's door panel and vapor barrier off. Managed to get the new door check in. Wire trick from the guy who did the write up I read was a good idea. He said he used pliers to get the pin in. I found using my next to smallest pry bar, sticking the pin in as far as it would go, lining everything up, and hitting the pry bar with a hammer got it in on the first shot. Door opens and closes nice now. Started scoping out how I am going to deal with the Dynamat. Cleaned up everything and started to make my first cut and it started sprinkling. On a rain delay at the moment. Going to be a rough week.

Started prepping the new-to-me rearend. Cleaned it up, shot it with Rustolium, and installed the extended brake line. Gonna get it into the jeep now with stock gears, just gonna rebuild the brakes and possibly throw in some new leaf springs.

CF wheeling trip coming up. Hopefully I'll have time/funds to regear everything before then, but if not at least I won't be rolling on the D35!

I'd like to see a CF event for KOH...I think that would be awesome...
