what a freaking disaster, shimmed the tranny up about a 1/2" with out thinking about the very tight clearance i have on my exhaust. basically rammed the end of the down tube where 2.5 to 3" collector starts into the floor and it blew the header collector gaskets to smithereens. so it was extra loud, running hella rich, and running like garbage. so i just spent the last 4 hours cutting apart my down tube apart and re-welding it to fit the new drive line angle.
had to stop before i could re install the modified down tube, so ill have to get my butt up extra early to install it and hope it fits right so i can make it too work.

If you are talking about the tweeters I want to say it improves the sound a little. Not an audiophile and my hearing is so so. Could just be the placebo effect but I am not sorry I bought them. Bought them about a year ago. $40 shipped from St. Louis, I think, off Craigslist. Kinda sad it took me all this time to get them in.
If you are talking about the sound deadening I have not taken it for a ride yet. Plus like I said only did the front doors. Can say this. After I finished the drivers door I started rapping on it. Get a dull thud. Then hit the same area on the unfinished passenger door. Get a tinny sound. Definitely dampens the resonance of the metal. Think that is the proper term. Figured I would do a write up. Not like I have clue about any of this.

The LED's on the whip, I'm 50/50 on. Totally cool out here in the desert, wheeling in the middle of nowhere, after dark or dawn/dusk...otherwise I'd never use them, lol

I hope you kept those turbines...IMO they look sweet. The soft 8's are nice too, but you just don't see rigs with turbines very often. Well, at least where I live...

LMFAO
I will say this about the LED whips...in the desert, they are awesome, you can see them for miles, which is a good thing when light is scarce, lots of rocks/hills/valleys where you totally want to have people know you're there

That's good to know. Seems like the desert is definitely the place for the LED stuff. the 52" light bars, LED whips, all that stuff... seems like the desert is the best place. I don't have any problem with the LED whips, mind you, but those full-width light bars are way too much light for the trail... especially if you're behind someone. The 4 pods I have on top of my roof are bright enough!

LED bars and whips serve a purpose...when using them correctly.
What I hate is guys in brodozers towing their **** out there who find it necessary to light up on the highway.
Save that **** for the trail, doof.
