Ya yah...I said it was more of an appearance thing...some people are into that. Lol I ain't got no time for that. Might get the BTF covers now myself. Just wish the bolt heads were more protected...other things higher on the priority list though.

Yea, thats what I was doing. But it didnt tell me which pin is for what on the switch and I got tired of fooling with it last night.

I did road driving, then offroad, but not even really much mud (a Honda Civic could probably make it through except for the odd rock or two in the mud) mostly rock and dust. I don't know what the deal is. I guess I somehow just destroy stuff really quick while not even beating on my jeep. All I want at this point is to get my jeep to where I can drive it semi-reliably...

Probably not the reason your'e wanting to upgrade your diff cover but it's an interesting test and comparison of material strength.
