Cut the passenger side fender flare, tomorrow I'll probably cut the sheet metal and do the same with the drivers side

looked at it and thought my hard brake line was leaking under the driver side door, until I opened the door and seen the floor was wet with the same oily stuff. tracing it to the back seat and an engine oil bottle on its side leaking. so it ran to the front and leaked thru the herculiner, pinhole I guess. right where I found an almost thru rust hole that's been herculined over, from previous owner. its right behind the drain hole.
No, I don't lick fish.

I got my Xj, Eugene yesterday
I cleaned his interior then drove it to Rathdrum ID and back to Spokane without a hiccup
Then today tore apart the header panel (Is that what you call the thing that the headlights and grill hook to)
removed the damaged parts and got the headlight adjusters ordered
I also washed and waxed the whole jeep, it made all the difference cause it looks like a different jeep
I dont think the P.O.s even cleaned it once since 94

Drove it to work. Drives great! Note to self : check weather before driving to work with no doors. 65% chance of storms and I have an hour ride home..... fun

Spent the morning in 2 boneyards. The first one pulling a computer and a harness I wanted and in the second one prepping the Jeep for removing all the factory privacy glass that I want.

Trimmed the metal and plastic flare hoping I wouldn't have to bumpstop anymore than I already have. Still a little contact with the fender. I guess I'll have to decide what I want to do about more bumpstop. Anyone running progressive bumpstops? finished product of trim. Hits at the very front corner of the fender flare.

Drove it to the store to get fixin's for carne asada, stuff for micheladas, and tequila. 103* outside, no AC, and I don't care. Running like a top.

Sold my 33's and put on some 35's
Rubbing at full lock. Need to cut the front fender more but not sure if I can cut past the first torx-bolt at the bottom rear of the front fenders. Maybe drill out another hole a bit further back and use a simple bolt + nut to secure the fender? ;
I basically need to cut just aft of the first nut in this picture to clear the 35's at full steering lock.
Or is it just that my front axle is not as far forward as it needs to be, since I only have a short-arm 4.5" lift currently (might got up to a 6.5" lift, but I honestly like the rig being lower COG)
