Did an oil and filter change along with new fluids in the brake master cylinder and power steering reservoir. Also ordered parts to redo my rear suspension.

Default Under Hood lamp

have a pretty new to me 2001 jeep cherokee sport. The under hood light was not working. Found that the bulb was cracked and the locking mechanism on the connector was broken.
Replaced bulb... still not working.
Cleaned the contacts and now working.
Ordered new fog lights, oops they are actually driving lights as both of them are not functional and cracked.
Hope they get here soon looking forward to getting this vehicle into shape.

Ordered a set of tires for it... No more ghetto lean and egg-shaped tires.

Got my new shackles today. Now I've got everything I need to stab in the 8.25 rear. I've already replaced all the front control arms, steering parts, etc. Now new leaf springs, etc are going in.

So **** it, just order new procomp shocks for all four corners, and an RE steering stabilizer. Time to say bye to the last of the cheap parts store crap holding her up.

Default Bolt-on, Spray-on, Stick-on build

Installed adhesive traction pads on rear bumper to be used as a step for roof rack.
Started working on table that cantilevers off bumper.
Received $100 gift card in the mail for my two hour wait at Jeep dealer while they installed a free hitch due to a recall. Pin number for card is last digits of VIN, cool. That will feed me for the next month while the wife and boy are in Canada.

Drilled out the holes in the lower radiator support so I can run 5/16" bolts for the front skid. Was going to use the rivnuts there but I would have had to enlarge a hole that is about 1/4" to a 1/2" for a 5/16-18 rivnut. Was not comfortable making the hole that much bigger in the sheet metal. So nuts and bolts it is. I did enlarge the 2 holes that the front bumper caps bolt to under the front fender lip to 3/8" to run some 1/4-20 rivnuts there. Took my thread restorer to the to threaded inserts in the Uni-body that the skid uses. Scuffed up all the metal some. Hit it with the POR 15 Cleaner/Degreaser. Tomorrow I will metal prep and POR 15. Cleaned up my inner fenders and the front bumper. Also have my fender flare brackets and a bunch of hardware soaking in the Evaporust stuff.
