Looking forward to All Breeds on Saturday to see what goodies I'll find. And get more ideas.

I was totally going to be there on Saturday, until I remembered we would be on vacation at the same time. I will be home Saturday afternoon. But of course, I will have a ton of crap to do before going back to work on Monday. Probably won't make it out Sunday either.

Took the waggy for a spin around the block. It had been sitting at least 8 years and with a little ether it cranked up and ran good. Also tried to replace the dizzy pick up on the zj but the parts store gave me the wrong one...

installed a new water pump and serp belt. unsure of the old ones age, but it was at least 5 years old and had at least 100k on it. sounded like it lunched the bearing then threw the pulley. luckily i was <1 mile from home.
pro tip: don't use the carquest premium pump. once installed the holes on the power steering bracket did not line up, the inlet tube from the heater core was at a terrible angle and it was impossible to get a wrench or socket on the bolt underneath the inlet tube because the body of the pump was cast too close to the bolt. i uninstalled the new carquest pump in leiu of a gates pump, installed perfectly.
