What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Did my headlight harness today. I used the putco one, got a great deal on it. I have read the relays aren't the best but already have backups incase. Wow what a difference, I also ordered the rampage h4 conversion.

Like those black Icons. What did you use to paint them? I hope to come across 5 of them someday on Craigslist at a reasonable price. Running Eccos at the moment which I really like too. Anybody have any opinions on getting rims Line-X'ed? When I had that other work done I asked. Figure maybe problems with the bead sealing for starters. They said they only did it once. Brought up all the same concerns. The customer said the heck with it lets try. Thing is they never heard back from the customer as to whether it worked or not. Thinking some Line-X'ed rims would look really nice on my black Jeep and hide all the little defects in them.

Replaced the trans mount last night. Seems better, no more exhaust rattle on the cross member....
And, I've logged almost 1000 miles on the Jeep since I put it on the road a few weeks ago.

I towed the Bug down to work with the XJ today. Think its about time I look into a trailer brake controller. It does not like stopping when going down all the steep hills around here. I have been towing quite a bit with it lately so probably not a bad idea.

A brake controller is pretty straightforward in an XJ. 12V & ground to the unit, and there's an existing blue wire from the kickpanel back to the left quarter panel. I wouldn't tow much of anything in mine without one.
The Tekonsha Primus IQ is a nice, cost-effective unit.
