Installed BD rubber motor mounts and a Crown trans mount. Much much much better. A few vibes from the BD mounts but I think they'll settle over time. Very happy overall.

Had a crack in the exhaust manifold that was in a spot that could not be welded. So I bought some JB Weld Extreme Heat. It says it will fix things like this. Sanded down the area of the crack then cleaned it with brake clean. Added one layer and let it cure for 6 hours then added another layer. Will report back tomorrow night if it worked. Fingers crossed.
No, I don't lick fish.

I bet the chair will get more comfortable with time.
Kinda curious too. Anybody remember Liquid Steel? I used it to fix the seam on a radiator in a '65 GS Skylark I used to own. Figure a header would get so much hotter but wonder if that would work.

Got the sterling 10.5 under the rear and got the front axle cleaned off to install some goodies on it later this week.

Can't see how any kind of epoxy, sealant, whatever will hold. It's not so much a heat problem as it is the flexing that caused the crack in the first place. Right?

no, sir. it’s a base model jeep with the only power function being mirrors. i added a headlight harness, other than that it’s rock stock electrically. stock radio, 2 speaker setup etc. this was ac on full blast and bright lights on, at full operating temp. i didn’t see the need for anything more.
