i must add - after the first tire rotation those nankang ft7s got loud. they were bearable before. if they don’t simmer down in a few thousand miles they’re coming off.

At least them being loud is all your trouble is with them. Couldn't for the life of me get mine to balance. Massively out of round.
Remove the battery tray. I had to cause I have a front skid but it was not that bad getting it out for me on my '00. Funny thing was when I installed the front skid I realized if I ever had to do this job out from underneath was not an option. So I removed my battery tray, anti-seized all the bolts, cleaned it up and put it back together. Well sure enough............
yea i did it on my first Cherokee from top and bottom. it was somewhat a pain.
Looks great. I wish I felt confident that I could have done a good job on mine. Bragging rights, save a couple bucks, etc. I just know I would not have. I paid to have mine done when I put an overhead in my '00 that did not come with one. Along with the headliner and visors.
Not yet and chomping at the bit to get on it. Winter came back with cold, wind, and snow. Garage ain't heated. Been "planning" though. I'm going to try and ratchet strap the tank in place when removing the bands.
