Bought it a daily driver finally. $2900 135k pretty clean. Almost no rust which is unheard of. Now I can finally take the jeep apart for more than 1 day at a time. And it’s a 5-speed!

been trying to find a solid daily for a while. I drive a lot. Finally convinced my wife I needed one when I mentioned the $1200 tires will start to wear out soon. Plus it’s way easier getting kids in and out of the Subaru than it is the jeep

As for the kids... Jeep is easy... just gotta take an extra step back to launch'em up in there.

3D printed some brackets to mount the air manifold. Not quite as strong as I'd hope they'd be so I think I'm going to modify the file some and reprint themAttachment 402179

Yeah, try bench pressing an AX transmission while you wait for your buddy to start atleast two bolts to hold it up. Tcase was attached but had no fluid in either one.

I hear you. I've had to hold up my Torqueflite while also trying to get the two side bolts started by myself

Oil, filter, lube, and checked diffs. Used these little zerk fitting covers that I bought on Ebay. See how those work out. Swapped out tranny and TC fluid. Also drained my PS reservoir with one of those cheesy pumps and refilled it. Almost forgot. Took an oil sample to send to Blackstone Labs.
