Looks good!

This is the old Chevy brushguard, right? Other than mounting brackets, what was modified? Narrowed? Just curious...

Yes this is the same chevy brushguard.

1.)Had extensions welded onto the framerails out to the bottom of the guard
2.)The headlight loops were shortened 5.5" on each side.
3.)lowered the top part down onto the pull bar more and redrilled the holes. (to drop it vertically some)

They are attached to the brush guard. They are on a pin, like they swing a little bit.

The welder said that If I didnt like them or if they effected the approach angle too much to just cut them off.

I'll get a better picture.

Hey Belto, i thought ud like to kno i live minutes away from where that movie was filmed. I dont know if your a Notre Dame fan but Maybe this weekend il get u a pic of the golden dome or the stadium.GO Irish!!!

Anyways today i fixed my cupholder dilemma. i bought the 4 pack that u can find at some parts stores and wal mart. I cut the L part off 2 of them and this is what i came out with.Name: 068.jpg

Size: 97.6 KB I used about 1" screws and sealed them to prevent water seapage, il problly use some undercoating just in caase, Theres plenty of clearance for the screws above the T Case. Drilling into the floor is the last thing i wanted to do but i think its the best spot iv found. And im still working on the sizing of the pics.

and the brush guard is attached to the stock bumper only? if so that is a very dangerous point to pull at,, the stock bumper is not strong enough to resist that pulling pressure, I suggest you relocate them.. just my 2cents

Nah, there are some super thick angle iron (only shaped like this [ and ] attached to the inside of each side of the pull bar at the bottom, and then its completly welded to the frame rails. The top is through the bumper just as a support though. The only way I can see it pulling on the bumper is if I tried pulling down from the top of the pull bar.

I doubt I will ever pull from it, but it looks/feels strong.
