So you think I should use the Agate console lid? Figured I would roll with it for a bit and see what I think after a week or so. The rest is me going for the clone but on my terms. LOL. Now to just find some Limited/Country door panels in Agate.

Somebody else recommended that type. One of the customers of the auto parts store I work at is a car detailing store. That is all they sell. Stuff to detail cars. Went in there one day to pick their brains. For my needs he told me to go by the dual action one at HF.

There is always a coupon for this one. $50. Bought the pads and I thought it worked OK. I guess. It is a Jeep so not like I really care about shiny more so trying to protect the paint.

I use one like that. Picked it up from autozone for $20-25. Does ok for polishing but not something that cuts good.

Sure why not? lol It will definitely look more balanced when you get the door panels on though.

Did nothing on Saturday, but go the All Breeds Jeep Show in York Pa. All was good until the rain started in earnest. Tons of awesome Cherokees there, even an almost twin to mine. Rain kinda killed it though by 1300 so headed back to Maryland.

yea I was going to head in, the fairgrounds is like 10ish minutes from my house. I looked at the radar and saw it was going to pour. So I just stayed home. Oh well, maybe next year.

Umm Exactly that one lol like said it does good for polishing. I'm sure there are better ones out there but I'm just keeping my Jeep nice not planning on winning any shows or repaint it to fix overspray.

I was up there again this year. Met up with XJwonders to deliver some parts, and I finally bought my YJ the Hyline hood vent that I've been eyeing for two years. 20% off and a free shirt isn't a bad deal!

Then I drove two hours back from York to Frederick, MD in a downpour with no top or doors

Tried doing some searching to figure out my problem, but ended up making a thread. The Comanche backfires and falls on its face when I try driving it. Idles fine and breaking in the cam at 2000-2500 was fine, but under any load it is terrible. Tried unplugging the IAT since that fixed the backfiring before the new engine, but that did nothing.

Put the stocker on two ramps to "flex it out" and to check the condition of the leaf springs when compressed. And I thought I was concerned about their condition before I did this... Does anyone want to guess the mileage? Original springs and the Jeep is from New England.

This is why it rides so nice for a Jeep.

Charged the battery. A tarp that I keep in the back got caught in the latch and the inside lights stayed on for days.
