Not entirely sure what direction i wanna go in regards to paint on this one. Some variation on silver for the primary color. Lol, mostly out of laziness. I dont want to redo the door jambs.

Im thinking bout going a good bit lighter than the original gunmetal grey(hate that color). Then possibly doing a bedliner job from the high bodyline(just under the gay orange pinstripes) on down, ala Golden Badger. Not sure yet.
When are we painting the Comanche?

Sounds like next summer's project. This summer is running out of time and money. I haven't decided what I want do with the paint yet though. Or if I want to try a 97+ front clip or keep the old school front end. Too much to do, too little time and money.

I didn't do anything to my Cherokee because my Comanche was being a turd. I had planned on doing a trans cooler, unit bearings and doing some testing on the Cherokee, but when running some errands the electric fan in the comanche decided to self destruct. I ran to the junkyard and upgraded to one out of a 96, got a little tube for the blower motor, got the condensation tube for the AC (which fixed my passenger side river), and got 2 sentinel headlight things. Got home and installed my parts and she's better than ever

Built new front long arms to replace the Claytons as they were too short for the 5 extra inches of wheelbase added to the front. I had mildly bent the driver side so these are 2.5 diameter tube upsized from the 2 inch . Built new uppers so I could set pinion correctly and not have 5 inches of shank out. .Cycled them out by inflating one side and fully deflating one side ...lol...that is a full 18 inches of ori strut travel used , so keep that in mind when you hear that radius arms do not flex.

We all make poor decisions sometimes. I'm just glad my Cherokee isn't the only running vehicle anymore. 19 mpg with small cheap tires is a lot better than 13ish with my mtrs getting chewed up

New distributor because I snapped one of the distributor cap screws when trying to replace it this weekend.
Then 3 ish hours to get timing re-set properly and button everything up...

The old one had a bit of up/down play so it's not a total waste I guess.

You couldn't get the screw backed out? Also, I figured out you kinda pay attention to where the rotor is at and you'll usually get it within a tooth then you can get it from there usually

I don't know how it does it, but the oil pump drive messes you up going back in. Somehow it changes it's self while you have it out. lol

I have a machine screw and nut holding one side of mine for the same reason
