Got the gas tank back in all wired up, gas tank skid on, painted the 8.25 cover hammered gray to match the front Solid cover, reinstalled the NP242 all hooked up, and cut up the tcase skid to start mocking it up to raise it up and out the way.

It can. The whole system is shot in this one. Got a new compressor, conversion fittings, lines, condenser, dryer and evaporator for 165 bucks. Can't really complain about that price. I'm essentially replacing/repairing everything in this XJ, then giving it back to my wife to drive once done. Me driving it everyday forces me and my OCD to fix everything on it.

So started working on turning the grill inserts black. Decided to go with Plastic Dip. I know there are better and more permanent ways to do this. Been wanting to check the stuff out though. When I first read about it I had the dumb idea of spaying my doors, below the door molding, rockers, and wheels with it for the winter time. Layer of protection?
Kinda figured as much but these are going to be black so.... If I decide to cover them with something else I am sure I can get it off to a point where something else will adhere to it. Even if I have to sandblast it off.
So the inserts are drying and since I have to remove the grill to put them in figured I would put in the LED's I bought and the headlight harness purchased from jhc7399. I was holding off on the headlight harness because I really want to put in an aux fuse box. Trying to clean up inline fuses and figure out a clean way to position relays. Also upgrade the battery cables and a more powerful alt. Figured I would do all that at the same time. Haven't even dropped the alt off at to my guy who will rebuild it and up the amps let alone figure out how I am going to wire the fuse box. Plus still have to purchase the battery cables. Thinking this will be on hold till next year.
