Got replacement for the entire pulley/coil/bearing/clutch and installed it last night. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showpo...&postcount=227
Oh ****! That sucks man. I'd say it's not absolutely necessary for the functionality of the case, but I'd sure want it in there.
I bought my old rig back! Now, time to get it back to Rochester, NY from Knoxville, TN.

Got some work done on the half doors
I've got a lot more pics, but the only way I can upload is through the app. I'll do a write up once the pic uploads get resolved. I'm actually using pre 97 doors, and having to do some custom work to make them work.

So when I was out running some errands yesterday in the 95 the wipers just stopped working.. Right when it was raining bigtime(never fails lol) Not far from home I decided to toss some RainX on the windshield and head home.
I get home and started to noggin poke around, notice the motor would run but no arm movement. Hmmm must be bushing. I take it all apart and noticed the arm came off the main nipple from motor.. Okay get a new bushing and boom.
NO! not with 95 fun times.. The main nipple on the motor was so rusted it lost about half its size. Then it fell apart more when I was running around using the wipers.
The bushing would just slide on and off,,not pop on and off, just slide and fall off in your hand.
So I call around can't find crap, everything has to be ordered or a new motor that needed to be ordered also..grrrrrrr! (no junk yards here)
I didn't want to wait forever to get a little part. So out comes the welder and I made a nipple.
I thought I took a pic of the nipple after Dremel work, but I guess not.. I would like to say it came out killer and perfect. But no, it came out
good enough for the bushing to pop on and hold. I smoothed everything up so the DIY nip would not eat up the new bushing.
POP!,cool it holds on good.
It works good.. let it run for 15 mins, popped the the bushing to check and make sure its not getting eaten by missed rough edges.
All looking real good.
all done
In Butt-head voice,,ha,ha,ha, NIPPLE.
