I am currently doing the back flush on the heater core to try and get more heat. Have some cleaner soaking in it right now before blowing it out again. Wish me luck, with this cold we have been having and will be getting, I need all the heat I can get out of her. She heats up just fine for the engine but, not for me.

Was planning on finishing up my paint but the rain has cancelled that out so I pulled my driver seat and welded it back (the brackets across the bottom of the seat had broke lose and I'd been riding with a cooler wedged behind it so it wouldn't rock )... That's probably all the attention she'll get today.

Replaced the idler pully...Figured I'd stop fooling myself by thinking it was just the belt squeaking...Was definately on it's way out...Easy to replace(about 20 minutes) and cheap(25 dollars)
2 weeks ago had the one on my Taurus seize up without any warning...Luckily I had just pulled out of my driveway and it only threw the belt and didn't cause any other damage....

First post noob here..hello, from SE Mi.
I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport. Has almost 180,000 miles on.
As much as I hate the thing (I have so many little issues with it), I love the thing. I don't want to get rid of it.
I R&R'd the windshield washer pumps.
I got new pumps from NAPA for 14.99 each and a gallon of solvent.
Took me 30 min. The old ones were crazy rusted.
In the past 6 months I have replaced the thermostat, the thermostat body, water pump and the belt.
Next on the to do is that resistor thing so the fan will work on everything not just high.
I have no air and the heat is intermittent.
Cool forum.

I am getting a little closer to getting her back on the road. I pulled off the intake and exhaust manifolds in order to install my dynomax header. I went ahead and installed "upgrade" injectors while I had the intake off. Then I decided to pull the track bar and bracket now, since I just ordered a RC adjustable track bar. Managed to break one of the vertical bolts and had to break the spot welded nut off. Gotta love big pipes!
Tomorrow I'll be tackling the header install and trying to get the engine bay put back together.
Having the air box out really makes me think about fabbing up a cowl intake and aux battery box though. I can't stop modding...it's an addiction!

Picked up a few parts and helped a friend tear down an Xj.
Dana 30 HP 3.55 ratio
Dana 35 3.55 ratio(use until my 8.25 is finished)
rear bumper
tail lights
undented gas tank
Yesterday I picked up some RG6 coaxial connectors to fix my antenna. PO was nice enough to "accidentally" cut it. I say accidentally cuz the wire was clean cut with wire snips.
