Put in a TC drop kit as a band-aid till I get an SYE installed. Those stupid studs gave me some trouble. I tried the double nut trick but it would not budge. I heated it, sprayed it with Kroil, Heated more. It just would not budge. So I ordered a bolt extractor from Amazon. What a lifesaver! Put it on my cordless impact and came out easy as pie.
However all in all, the TC only helped marginally. I still have some driveline vibes. It's not too severe, but I will be doing an SYE sooner than later.

Just make sure the vehicle wasn't creamed so bad the drivetrain parts took a lot of the damage. I saw one Toyota truck in the junkyard that squared up with an oak tree and lost. The front of the engine was about where the fire wall should've been and the driveshaft actually bent the rear axle about a foot.

Ok working on 94 that might end up being a stop gap till I get mine back on the road. Ran into a problem with the blower switch, bought a new one, but I need the plug that supply's the power and such. Everyone in the upull yard has the same problem, melted. It's 94 production date 10/93. Anyone know where I can get a new one, or does anyone have one laying around?

New front axle joints...they were still tight but almost rusted frozen. New oil pressure sending unit. Then got to drive around in fresh 8” of snow and rescue a car stuck against the guard rail.

I got it from Quadratec as an "EXPORT" steering wheel their descriptions of 99 percent of the stock parts they sell suck so in this case I thought i was getting a repro wheel from Omix Ada which is who they list as the manufacturer.
Turned out to be a no crap factory original wheel it wasn't cheap but the only local places i could find that would recover my original wanted 200 dollars and were an hour or more away. This was 233 shipped so figured I'd break about even after factoring in gas or shipping. I wanted to keep the interior original so it was worth the cost to me
The frame was quite rusty but it was all surface rust that knocked right off with a wire wheel. Also lots of dust from the shelf they kept it on but as you can tell from the first post it cleaned right off

Got the flywheel adapter machined down and mounted the flywheel to the 617, along with my spare bellhousing to test fit.
