Did a road trip up to Pa to get some parts for the 94 SE. Didn't find the manual window regulator for the passenger door, but got a set of power mirrors (will be installed without power) a soundbar with new speakers in it, and the 1/4 glass with vent windows and the seals are in great shape. All for the great price of $20.00! Now to start pulling out the plastic in the back to change the windows and mount the soundbar, and got the connecting harness too, hoping there is the same connection in the pass side rear panel.

Dual core radiator
Hey all! I know it's been a while, but I installed a new radiator... One thing I didn't expect was the clearance for the hood latch, already thought it through, gonna install hoodpins and do away with the stock latch.

Just got off a 3 year run on my Hankook Dynapro ATMs (30s as well). They were an all around excellent tire. After 3 years of 80 miles/day they looked about as good as the day I put them on.
They performed on ice, snow, and loose dirt (and some mud) way better than their less-aggressive looks would have you believe.
However, around the 25k mark their compound started to harden quite a bit. Especially noticeable in cold temperatures (freezing) This led to a fairly quick and substantial increase in road noise. And a relatively sudden decrease in ice/wet traction performance.
I would still recommend that tire to anyone. And perhaps in a warmer climate like yours they will perform better over a longer period of time. For performance vs. price they are still hard too beat.
I got 3 good years out of mine, with significant mileage. So no regrets!

Started pulling the plastic pieces for side window swap. They are on hold now as while I had the panels pulled back would check the floor in the cargo area. And found this mess, will be burning some wire in the next couple of weeks.

So the weather has been crap. If it is not raining it is cloudy and cooler then I think it should be this time of year.
Figured I would mess with something today anyway.
So seeing how I have all these extra front seat parts I want to try and put headrests in my rear seat like in European Versions.
So today I cut some of the front seat framework off with the bracket that holds the tubes for the headrest off.
Was wondering if I could use some of the framework to help position it.
Cut on the right hand side of the yellow tape. Got to play with my newer sawzall that I have not used yet.
$125 on OfferUp awhile back. Brand new in the box with a 5.0 battery, charger, and a bag.
Anyway it did not look like keeping the framework was going to help so I separated the bracket from the welds to the framework with my die grinder.
And that is about all I felt like dealing with today.
Going to have to figure out position and what not. The foam has this indents that I am willing to bet are where the Brackets should be in European versions.
There are some write ups out there but it looks like they use the rear headrests from Grand Cherokees.
They are all sorts of things that I have to figure out for position.
None of this is going to happen anytime soon.

So I finally got the "Factory" passenger side rear tow took on the Jeep.
One thing I did not realize till about a week ago when I was mocking it up that the gas tank skid is cut differently on each side.
The driver's side rear tow hook, which is all Jeep made as far as I can tell, has a cut out in the skid which gives you access to the eyelet.
Cause the passenger side is different not so much. Since they are just for show and I really don't think they would be a good recovery point anyway don't really care.
But someday I might get ambitious, drop the skid, and take my die grinder to it.

What do you guys think of this?

Also as much as I love the mats I cut out of that bigger Tractor Supply mat the bigger one gives me a slight problem. Getting older my grip is not what it used to be. Occurred to me to cut a hand hold in it. Thinking at some point I will tear it but we shall see.

Installed 2 Crown HD leaf springs with Energy Suspension bushing kit. Also refinished U-bolt anchor plates since we have a lot of rust and road salt up here in NW WA. Hope to get the rear axle bolted back in before this Sunday.

On the way to my A/C mechanic today I started getting all kinds of random, phantom error codes and CEL and Check Gauges were illuminated. While we were pulling a vacuum and getting her R134 on, we discovered the alternator inexplicably not alternating current. Huh. It was only 3 years old but God knows how many times it was rebuilt I guess.
I spent the majority of the afternoon putting in a new one. No more problems and the AC is as cold as a glacier.
It was a pretty good day today. Hope everyone is doing well out there.

O2 Replacement for naught
Replaced my front O2 sensor today, but that didn't fix the problem which seems to be my constant problem.
