Driver's side is done.
As soon as the new bump stops come in get them bolted up.

Cleaned up front brake hose fittings with a wire brush and hit them with Kroil penetrant several times today in preparation for changing out the hoses and calipers due to a dragging caliper. Picked up rebuilt calipers at NAPA today, and Raybestos hoses ordered from Rockauto have arrived. (Hecho en China, of course.) The fittings don't look too bad so maybe I'll get lucky there.

So how about this for some way to bright bump stops.
Probably should have painted them. LOL.
Both sides are done now.

Installed front calipers and brake hoses. Surprisingly the hose fittings were not particularly rusted and came apart without drama. It's quite possible the hoses were not all that old, but since a hose can also cause a caliper to drag and the parts are cheap I figured it was best to just replace them. (Pads and rotors are recent and were retained.)
I love shiny new brake parts!

I replaced my AC Compressor, evacuated the system, had a shop run vacuum through it and charge it back up. For the first time in 2 years since owning the Jeep, I have AC! I'm super excited lol.
Few days ago, I pulled the coil spacers and blocks that were on the Jeep when I got it and replaced them with Zone 3" coils and full leafs. Tossed the rear sway bar, took the front off temporarily and honestly can't even tell it's off. Going to do ZJ tie rod soon.

Not today, but recently:
Replaced my OEM coolant reservoir with Dorman 603-001 and relocated it over here. Inspired by user CantDrive55.
Also, took my PDC from looking like this:

More to come! Check the build for details.

So I got my rebuilt alternator back from my guy.
He says just under 155 amps.
So I figure I would start trying to mock up for the battery cable upgrade.
At the moment thinking about going with a 1/4" 45 degree one off the alternator.
Dremeled out the cover a little so I could still use it.

So I think I have everything figured out for the positive battery cables.
I was hoping to run two 5/16" 90 degree ones at the PDC.
But from the PDC to the battery it won't lay flat.
Was trying to not trim the little cover. Oh well.
So going to run a straight 5/16" to the battery.
Probably be better anyway. I will trim the cover on the fly.
Also figure run a 5/16" 90 degree at the starter.
Going to try to get to the store today and grab 8' of 2 gauge positive wire and I guess we will see how I make out.

Unfortunately life happens and I had to sell it. I wish I had room, time and money for all my Jeep projects, but one had to go.
