Drove it around, went to a park. Swapped out the driver side electric window crank for a manual for when the full doors go back on. Electric motor's wiring split right at the housing with no way to fix at least while inside the door.
Replaced the plastic screw anchor for the driver's door arm rest. Drain and refill on the trans. Replaced the little plastic receivers and screws on my grille.
Cleaned out flaking cracking seam sealer at the top of firewall. Applied 3M 08368 urethane seam sealer. Best price on the stuff I found was at my local PPG automotive paint jobber, $20.

I would have to use the black version of the 3M urethane seam sealer, 08367, cause my Jeep is black. LOL.
Replaced zinc plated steel screw on the battery to body ground with a stainless screw. Removed some brown brake fluid and replaced with fresh. Same with power steering fluid. Threw away my cheap fluid hand pump and got a cheaper squeeze pump.
Went from body colored molding and bumper caps to matte black. Used Rustoleum Peelcoat. Very pleased with how she turned out. Hopefully my new lugs and center caps will be in the mail in a few days. Next on the list is some Hellas. But before that, I need to do something with these motor mounts
Started putting the front axle back together after replacing ball joints and repainting the housing. Still waiting for the paint to dry on the knuckles and brake dust shields. Then it can all go back together.

Personally I am OK with the fender flares matching the body color but not the bumper caps and door moldings.
I don't know why though.
And while my goal is to turn my Sport into a Limited/Up Country/Police Version/European Orvis clone matching door moldings and bumper caps is not something I want.
Or the chrome grill and headlight bezels either.
Be interested in how the Rustoleum holds up after some time.
I used the Duplicolor version on those brushed silver aftermarket grill inserts I scored awhile back.
I used that instead of paint cause I have commitment issues (LOL) and was not sure which direction I wanted to go.
Now that I have been running them for awhile I like and want to keep them black.
Was kind of sorry I did not just use paint, thinking the Duplicolor would not hold up well, but the Duplicolor is holding up way better then I expected.

lol same here on the committment issue! That's why I used a peel off. I needed to break up the silver. Just too much colormatch going on. I mean I finally got the wheels I wanted. I eventually want aftermarket bumpers/tire carrier and sliders. This is a quick fix to help my feelings

Well yours being silver I definitely get it.
Even with a black Jeep I don't like it.
What is worse IMO is red and white Jeeps. Versions of those with the painted to match bumper caps and door moldings is way to much.
Even in the lower end models, that just have regular bumper caps and molding, I like when they change the grill, headlight bezels, and bumpers to black. Maybe not the bumpers on a red one though.
Think it breaks it up nice and give it a look.
One thing I was surprised about that I liked was those gold ZJ rims on a red XJ.
There is one I see around town set up with those.
And I don't even like those rims. LOL.

yeah those look good on the red, white, green and black.
I found a set of charcoal teardrops and I probably would have left mine entirely color matched, however; the wheels I had previous are 16x7 Icons, and the tires are good, so I just swapped them over to the Moabs.
