Scored a awesome find yesterday. Was at my local upull yard looking for stuff for my 94. There was a 93 sitting there (strange because they are normally gone ) went looking through it anyway. There was a box in the back with belts hoses another dash cover in black. And at the bottom of the box was a BBK box. Opened it up and found a nice and shiny throttle body wrapped in paper. Grabbed it and the dash cover a few small pieces and headed up to pay for it all. $65 later home and found out it's a 62mm for that Cherokee. Needless to say by end of day it found it's way to the 01. Test drive was good, seems to be a little crisper when you hit the skinny pedal. Will see how it does on mileage down the road. Bottom line it pays to dig through everything. Last week it was a Grant down between the sections of the drivers seat.
And to think I was excited to find a Jeep 6 CD Changer on the back seat floor loose one time.
When I bought my Jeep it had the enclosure and CD Changer in the cargo area. But was missing the cartridge.
Changer itself was half destroyed and I finished it off to get the cartridge out but when I found it you would have thought I found gold. LOL.

I ordered a remanned PCM. I'm over all these intermittent and/or nonsense codes. I have been meaning to acquire a backup computer for some time now, so here's my chance.

I replaced the starter. Still throwing between 5 and 9 codes at any one time. I clear them, different ones come back. The PCM can't get here any faster...

Fixed my master window switch, so each individual window switch works, Installed new speakers.
Said switch
Problem, solder cracks make the window lock switch inoperative.
Can't find your soldering iron, use a vise grip, nail and a torch.
New Boss speakers
Rear speakers and stereo tomorrow.

Got the new rear bumper installed, I just got to install the tire carrier next. Found out the front driveshaft was going bad it destroyed the u joint straps. Took the driveshaft to the local shop for a rebuild & 1" lengthening. I was using front driveshafts for both front and rear. Once it comes back it will go in the back. Does anyone know what series/size the straps are for the front (Dana 30)?
I'm looking at the dana part# 2-70-18x it says it's for the 1310 u-joint... is that the right one?

I completed the "Big 7" cable upgrade from JeepCables. (Am I allowed to plug a veteran-owned business? Well, I just did.)
I cannot believe I didn't do this sooner. What a difference in power delivery. Now getting a solid 14V+ and it feels more responsive. It looks like my old battery positive cable had begun to come undone at one spot and I wasn't contacting all strands. Just guessing here, maybe this power shortage somehow dorked up my PCM and took out some sensors on the way out? Anyways, I got the remanned PCM last night but haven't had a second to slap it in.

The wife picked up the driveshaft from the shop today for me. It's been rebuilt and extended 1" all for $160. I'll be busy this weekend, this is one of several projects planned.

Engine swap is complete, but... while it was down I decided to replace the fuel sending unit to fix the fuel gauge issue and now I need 2 J bolts for the 92 Cherokee. I hope the local Dodge dealer has a couple in stock tomorrow and won't rake me over the coals for them.

I saw your rustbucket album. I have some in the cargo area, same places-especially near the fuel filler area.
