Changed the transfer case fluid. This is a very easy job that cost me $23 including the pump. My fluid looked pretty old, so I'm glad I went ahead and got fresh fluid in there.

What type of 'pump' did you use? Also, what particular fluid? I've been messing with multiple 'manual squeeze' devices and am just ready to bite the bullet and get something reliable and less messy. Want to do this on my Jeeps this weekend, transfer and differential.

I have a couple of those too.
One for gear oil and one for tranny fluid for the transfer case.
I use the Valvoline one. Part number is VA 818 that I got at my Napa.

It's not the first rodeo on the alternator brackets. I have already ground them down for the last one so I don't believe it'll be necessary. Still, I'll have the flap wheel handy if it does need more clearance. I'll shoot some pics tomorrow when I'm throwing her in.
I was going to spring for the additional cost of powder coating but I just couldn't justify the extra $80 for a part that is hard to see and get to in the first place. I am slightly apprehensive because the instructions call for me cutting the wires off and eliminating the OEM terminal block. In other words, no going back I don't think.

If you're referring to the transfer case, I used an O'Reilly's brand of dexron III high mileage fluid. Same stuff I use in the transmission. The pump I also got from O'Reilly's, it's one that screws onto the bottle. You will definitely want a pump to do this job.

Picked up a Spectre cowl intake setup off my local facebook market today. Now I have a Renix and a HO version. I bought the renix version with the intent of reworking it to fit the HO but now I don't have to.

Yesterday I changed my valve cover gasket. One of the bolts was broken off in the block 🤬. It doesn't seem to be leaking though.

Also, I drove into a mud hole that was way deeper than I thought and flooded part of my interior lol. Looks like I'll be removing the carpet

Finally manipulated enough metal on this bumper to get it to pass muster!
Sanded, sprayed with etching primer and topped off with some bed liner....hope it holds for a little while.
Will install a new lower dash panel that I painted slate gray to replace the original that was a bunch of pieces holding together with a little hope and glue! I will also add a toggle switch for a 3 LED interior light, as I hate dim lights sometimes!

Removed half the carpet. Also found a rust hole in the floorpan.

What did I do?
I had ordered the tie-rod ends. They came. A nice day last week I tried to change the driver side which was well worn. I got that end down, unscrewed the old one and found the threads were reversed. So, I biked it to an auto parts place, got a pickle fork and the middle tie rod end (drag link?). Flipped that over the right way, did both ends. It’s much better. Just a ‘dizzy’ wobble now instead of ‘death’. Driver hub is wobbly. That came today. Looks like I’ll attack that tomorrow.
