Turned Over 400,000 Miles-6/7/2023
Over the last month, I gave this Cherokee a great 400,000 mile birthday-New transmission seals and gaskets, oil pan gasket and rear main seal, new (authentic Mopar!!!) oil filler cap, power steering hoses. Corrected many 'leaky' problems!

Late night wiring session last night. Had to pull the stereo and front door speakers to figure out why they were not playing. There is an issue somewhere along the wires on each side so ran new ones for each. Getting them through the rubber accordian seal to the door is an extreme pain btw. Since we had to pull it all out we went ahead and set up the microphone and ran the backup camera cable from the dash then behind the door trim. Got it to behind the bench seat before the mosquitos took over. Hopefully finishing that tonight. Wife has cleaned the front seats and is scrubbing down the center console parts now. Have to switch the leather on both bench seat pieces to the new Jeep bench seat b/c the donor bench seat back was bent in the wreck and the plastic bench seat bottom broke in about four places. Still shooting to get it re-installed tonight or tomorrow evening.
Works great. Wish it had a telescoping feature, though, b/c it does stick out a little further than I would have liked. However, it does make it easier to reach.
Microphone placement.

Tune up, air filter, installed half doors, and started fixing the previous owners hack job of a rear cut and fold...
Basically they cut the pinch seam out, and they must've used safety scissors, lol...Next I'll start prepping to start welding it back together, and remove any interior stuff in the way. Eventually going to be covered by armor...just want it solid and want to do something about my faded paint/clear coat.

Got a new battery for the xj, wish there was more info on what batteries will fit in my aftermarket tray. Also the passenger calliper stuck and I roasted the pads and plastic piston which led to my discovery of how bad my brake fluid was. New calipers are on the way.

Don't forget the hoses.
The inside of the passenger side hose swelling might be why the caliper stuck.

It's odd. I've never seen it before, but maybe I missed it.
There should be a maintenance interval for flushing brake fluid.
I know some other car makers have it as a recommended or requires service.
