I think that might be a good idea.

No worries. This has been like this for over a decade haha

Jeep has been sitting for a while cause it had a fuel leak. Bought the part to fix it a while back and then lost it. Finally stopped being lazy and ordered another. After way too much struggling to get 2 o-rings in, the leak is gone. However, now I have a leak at the other end of the fuel rail.....

Had some used front tires that appeared good when bought. In five months I felt like an experimental test pilot on a paint shaker. Had death wobble too.
Replaced track bar bushing with polyurethane, cured death wobble, but still had worsening vibrations and major pull to right.
Cords in both front tires were separated.
A new-to-me used tire place had Uniroyal Laredos same size as the Uniroyal Laredos I put on the back 6 months ago.
Now it's like driving a New Yorker.
Next dry weekend, centering the steering wheel.

I think all the ethanol is gone by now. Smelled more like straight paint thinner hahaha. Pretty sure the gas has been in the tank for 2+ years. Its pretty nasty. Definitely due for a full flush.

Yesterday I finally removed a shackle box from my parts XJ (involved some careful surgery with a 3" cut-off wheel inside the frame thru' an access hole cut in the floor). Today was spent drilling out spot welds to remove odd bits of floor, frame & back panel & generally fettling it in preparation for fitting to my '98, in place of the one that seems to have completely rusted away: no problem with the welded nut for me - although salvaging the bolts from the shackle might be something of a challenge

Runs flawlessly, and no leaks, just needs some TLC...okay a lot of TLC, but my rule is if it floats, it boats lol

True lol, I wish I hadn't some some of my old stuff but life sucks and then you die lol

I've been looking at a bunch of boats on Marketplace. Really would like to get a duck boat/fishing boat.

This one is mainly going to be used for fishing...time to get after the walleye and pike!

Default Took a look...and destroyed.

I was trying to fix a heat soak type of issue on the wife's WJ 4.0. I took the resonator off the throttle body (to clean the throttle body). The rubber gasket that goes from the resonator to the throttle body crumbled. What exactly is that part called. Google is worthless and I don't want to buy a whole resonator assembly just for the rubber piece.
