This was done yesterday:
Tried again to remove the so-seized-it's-probably-welded-in oxygen sensor. Rounded it really good this time. Looks like I'll have to give it over to a mechanic to remove.
When that failed, I tried to re-diagnose my foglight issue. Switch is new, fogs worked for about 2 weeks, and never came back on. Switch "on" lights when flipped on, swapped the relay with a known good one, tested the h3 bulbs. All check out. I'm scratching my head here.
In the process of all of this...my hood release handle separated from the hood release cable - great. It took about 10 minutes to get the hood locks to activate so I could close it.
Ahhhh Jeeps

As far as the lights go, do you have a multi-meter? Check to make sure there is power to the relay with the switch on, check the ground for the relay and check all the wiring. I hate wiring but if you break it down its stupid simple.
Get a new one from the Junkyard, shouldn't cost but a few bucks for a new hood release cable.

Edit: and I'm sick of the cold and snow it's killing any chance to do any fooling around under the hood even minor things.

99% of the time when people get pulled for that its because the cop has nothing better to pull them over for.

Did that to mine today, also sprayed the undercarriage with mag-away to get that crap off. Last time it was this clean was when I first bought it.
