Well, I finally bought an xj couple days ago. Got a decent deal on it. 1990 laredo. Anyway, since then, I replaced the water pump and learned how to burp a closed radiator system. I also have started learning a little about the renix system, which is not all that bad really. Had to pull the IAC and clean it up. Stopped the high idle issue I was having. By the way, is it normal for the IAC pintle to be covered in oil? Or do I have problem? Oh, also put new tires on it. Will post pics of it soon.

i went to the bank and i had my gf with me. (just got together) i thought i would show off and driver over these bushes... well they got stuck and pulled out of the ground... so i am driving through town and every one is looking at me weird.. so when i thought of pulling over to see why they are looking at me, i got pulled over.. lol... the first words were why is there a tree stuck under yur jeep?? i was shoked haha.. so long storing short i made an *** of my self and got a ticket for private property damage..

Put new seals on the input and rear out put seals... Ok I more or less did the input and Im starting the output on my Transfer case. Cleaned some stuff of it and am was trying to remove the fill opening so I can put more fluid in. gotta wait til monday to finish coz all my stuffs at school.

Burped cooling system. Checked new injectors for leaks. (None!) Put electric fan back in. (Pain) noticed airbag light is now on. Along wit cel. Cel is because I broke a vacuum line. Dunno bout the airbags light tho.

played a little hard @ a friend's house the other day, busted the "flex-tube" that the po installed from the muffler to the tailpipe. tried the ol' "beer can" trick just to get back into town. that lasted about as long as i thought it would (about 1/2 way back). just got back from the muffler shop, $50 less in the pocket, but he welded in some hard 2 1/4" pipe, & she purrs like a kitten again.......

I threw away my stock renix throttle body and swap it for one off a vortec 4.3. It was a good power gain and faster response, so of course I had to try it out.

I have a "went to the bank and..." story too.
Went to the bank to deposit my paycheck. decide I'm bored. Go out to a field by some housing developments where my friends and I always go (1.5mi from my house), climb some stupidly steep hills, flex on some piles of crap almost high-centering in the process. Unfortunately I didn't see a bit of mud until I was on the way out and I needed to go home and cook
