I wouldn't worry about it too much. My '87 XJ has been making that sound since my dad bought it new from the dealership. The dealer said it's a 'normal part of its operation' and nothing to worry about it. 236k miles and still making the noise, and it still runs like a charmer. I wouldn't worry about it.

yep buiying a new xj is good. the only prob is i have six complete running and driveing xjs in the back. it the xj bug i tell ya it bit, and damm it feels great.

Today I drove around a bit, looked at some new tires and stuff. New tires look like they're going to be pretty decently priced. Still working on a new centercap for one of my new tires...

cleaned my engine up a bit and the front end, but uhhhhh, now she idles at about 2000 rpm's, vroooooom shes a race xj now

had to go to my moms side for thanksgiving..all i did with the xj was drove it to my gf's to see her before i went to bed.

mounted the 2000 intake and borla to the new motor for my MJ today. valve cover and flexplate on saturday, then I need to yank the motor from the other MJ and do a quicky on it

drove to work, like the only one on the e way,later ill get some lunch (need beef no more poultry ) then ill drive home and might clean the inside out.
