I think my cooling system looks like that too. I'll do it in spring.
Today (this morning after work) I changed the oil and topped off all the fluids. I have to say, out of all the cars I have owned, Jeep's are the only ones that are noticeably different with new oil.

i've got the same thing: loud popping under driver's floorboard during low-speed turns, especially on hills or bumps). i've replaced the steering box, drag-link (zj swap/upgrade), tie-rod (rusty's hd), track bar (KOR double shear) steering stabilizer & front shocks (rancho 5000's). the tre's r good (new or "newer"). my steering has improved dramatically (i've got 31's on stock height). the popping is still there, next step is the lca's. any other ideas?

I gave the old girl a bath... oh and cleaned out all the trash laying in the floor boards, between the seats... under the seats... behind the seats and in the door pockets... found out what those two wires were hanging under the dash on the passenger side... the two wires with the black connector... it IS for a light for the foot well area... found the light in my glove box! now I just have to remount the light
Went mudding since some snow melted at the field, creating a nice mudhole. That was this afternoon when it was pretty warm and sunny.
Now its 30mph wind, 10 degrees, and snowing. So tomorrow morning I get to have a Jeep plastered in frozen mud.
Thats gotta be a bad U-joint in the front axle. Cheap and easy to replace, there is a guide on here in the write-ups section.

Well... when we were at the mudhole today my buddys fuel pump went bad in his XJ, so he decided to play around in his Chevy tow rig that he towed his jeep out with. So... as you would think, he broke the tow rig too!!! So then my XJ got to tow home a 22ft. trailer with an XJ on 38s all the way home about 70 miles away while having 5 people in my jeep. I even did with no issues at all!! I didn't overheat, tranny didn't slip, nothin!! All I noticed was that my stock brakes suck at stopping about 12000lbs rolling down the road

Today attempted to switch out the previous owners crappy 10 year old cd player for a 3 year old model I had laying around... well his crappy wiring job made this so difficult once I finished I had only 2 speakers that barely worked... so time to do some research on original wiring harness and the aftermarket harness that I had laying around... thank god its a project vehicle not my DD.

Did my own TC drop. Tried fixing my wobble by sliding track bar over. FAIL. Found that clunking noise I've had for over a year is a busted shock mount on the front passenger side. Checked my coolant an Its still green! ! Pretty much it.

Not today, but yesterday....
I fixed the AW4 trans by replacing the #1 and #2 shift solenoids. Now I can drive it without having to shift manually and when I get tired, the fiance' can take over.
I also installed a front receiver that I found on Craigslist for $100 (NIB) and removed the currently mounted chrome brush bar...
