Heh the drive isn't the bad part, I have a 45-60 mins drive in traffic every day and 45-90 mins drive in worse traffic on the way home. Have to fill up every 3-4 days. On the days I don't hit traffic I don't mind the drive at all

drove it to a friend's house to help her replace a headlight on her 97 tj. would've been a quick fix, had i brought the right size torx driver to remove the bezel & retaining ring. damn small star-drive's. 2 different sizes just to replace headlight (t-10 & t-15)! a quick jaunt in the tj to harbor freight was needed for some cheap torx sockets for her. otherwise, easy as pie. it made me miss my 92 yj, but i still love my xj.
haven't been able to do much lately. i broke my right fibula @ the end of feb, been out of work (& out of $) since. plus it's difficult to do anything on crutches & in a cast! i've been buried in a sea of paperwork, got cabin fever like crazy, & weather is finally getting better. wanna try to get my lift on soon!

Tried to install the radio in the 88. For some unknown reason I have no constant power from the battery now. It worked a week ago!
Pulled the broken speedo cable out. Called around to every parts store and the stealerships, I can't buy a cable for a non cruise controlled 88 Cherokee. So I have to hope and pray that the CC cable works or I can't get it inspected.

Installed the adjustable trac bar that I fabricated using 1 3/8" X 3/16" wall DOM tubing and some beefy pieces from the steering linkage of a V8 JK. It cost me under $30.00 to make including a new tie rod end and a poly bushing. It works awsome and is way stronger than the stock tac bar.

Soldered ends on battery cables and added a chassis ground. Pulled all of the trim off the windsheild and cleaned around it trying to find a blasted leak. Driver floor board getting wet??????
