Checked my hand break cable adjustment and turned out it held hills just fine now. Also did alittle bit of flexing...Didnt do to bad for a FWD cherokee.

Pulled a stuck tractor out of the mud with my stock 92 XJ. Did it effortlessly in 4LO. After getting it all muddy, I gave the Jeep its first wash and wax of the year since it was stored all winter.

Finished getting interior back together after repairing factory roof rack mounting bolts. Gave THECR8 a bath. Guess them may be curse words here. Spent about 5 hours on inside and out.

Decided to get rid of something I didn't like about the jeep...
So I spent the day doing this...
And replace it with somethin better
Still need to do some finish welding, some tuning, and test out a couple more spring options.(sitting a little higher than I want)
Oh,, and need to finish the truss

Nice Drive
Last night was dark cold run in sleet, wind, rain. However the morning bloomed bright and surprisingly warm.
Cleaned the contacts inside the keyless fob for the ZJ, it's alive and kickin now. Fixed the XJ glovebox latch, it opens again. Was going to work on my gas door project but schools out....
The girls took me for a driving lesson, 2 hours of screaming in terror
Somehow the Peep pulled us through, they are now well versed in 4 Hi, 4 Lo. Arrived home at sunset, I kissed the earth
Perhaps tomorrow in gratitude for the 1/2 tank of gas consumed they could powerwash the jeep?Ya, what am I thinking? Well still a beautiful end to a great day.

Nothing too major... installed my tune up kit and my Baja lights. After the tune up, I had some trouble starting it. Now it starts every time, but it almost feels like it has a misfire, is that normal for anybody else?

Brasscatz the lights look great, nice clean switch install. Does the switch power a relay that in turn powers the lights? Two lights can pull about 10 amps thru the switch wherin a relay will pull almost nothing thru the switch and handle 25 -30 amps distribution to your lights, just a thought for switch longevity. Nice work. I have high miles and probably lots of other issues and I set idle low so even with fresh parts my motor is a little less than stable at idle (never a stall). I did however couple years ago cut a boot on plug 1 Hi Tension wire, allowed arc (especially when damp) to the block and hence the misfire, as it hides behind the AC compressor it was tough to see until one night inspection. Also check that all the plug boots are fully seated. You used good parts and any suspect misfire could be from another source, not your new stuff.
