Soooo.... I'm quite pleased with my tune up kit... my mpg's went from averaging 17 highway to 23 highway....according to my display, that is. Unless my new Baja lights helped my mileage, I'd say that tune up kit did the trick!

Nice setup, im looking to do the exact same thing too. I'm going to fab up a mount that will use the top bolt on the right tail light. Im also going to fab something to tuck the antenna into that will mound on the right rain gutter so I'll be able to pull into my garage haha.

On my '93 Limited, I pulled off the rear hatch interior panel, and went to town. I cleaned, and lubricated all latching/locking parts. Now the door opens and closes as if it was new. I then cleaned and lubricated all rear wiper parts. Wiper working like new. Then I inspected all wiring. All wiring like new. I cleaned, degreased, and polished the insides of the door, waited for everything to dry, and then I applied a layer of 3M rubberized coating to the insides of the door- especially at the bottom. (To prevent rust from the inside.) Then I checked the door seal. I cleaned it with soap and water. It is like new. Before I put the panel back on, I replaced all of the locking clips that were missing. The door is now like new- inside and out! Oh, and I also cleaned and lubricated the hinges. If you can't tell by now, I have a bit of OCD. OCD is great for restoring automobiles! HAHA.... I plan to repeat this process on all 4 passenger doors.

Started it and moved back to its spot in the yard, moved it this weekend to consume beer by the campfire.

Still not road worthy without an SYE. But I currently only have 0.50$ in my bank account.

Looks like I won't be making it to Blessing of the Jeeps this year.

Finished welding one of my new rocker panels on this weekend after i cut what i though was all the rust off numerous times but kept finding more. Now i gotta do the other side and then it's time for a generous application of Herculiner in them, and the bottom portions of my doors as well.

On Easter got a call to pull my friend out of a mud pit so we jump in my cousins JK and in trying to pull him out he gets stuck so I went and got my XJ to save the day =) it was a good feeling pulling out two 2010 JKs in one day.

Found this wonderful t-case skid on a 97 ZJ at the PnP. Offers a good bit more protection than the factory XJ one. Picked one of those up as well for a buddy.

$20 for both skids and 10 minutes later, the Jeep has one more piece of armor on it

Last weekend I finished up the rear axle upgrade on my 91 XJ.

I replaced the peg leg Dana 35 with a Dana 44 that I found in an 88 XJ in the junk yard several months ago. It was the same ratio as mine so before the swap I added a new Dana Spicer Power-loc posi unit with all new bearings, replaced the brake shoes, w/cyl.'s springs, turned the drums, etc. while I was at it. Having the bigger rear brakes really makes a huge difference in stopping power!
