Finally changed my tc fluid.I have almost 200k miles. I dont think PO ever had it changed! Then I get to do it again in an hour or so in my wifes GC.

 

did some hill climbs on some dunes last night. im loving the traction of this 4 link, and not having axle wrap anymore.

 

New water pump, upper and lower rad hoses, new radiator. Its as cool as the other side of the pillow. No more diesel sound either.

 

seafoam for the first time! Seems to crank up cleaner but we'll see if that's true in the days week or two. It bogs down 1 out of 5 times. It's revving a lot smoother though

 

Today I made mirror and door handle covers out of diamond plate and got them installed. Think it came out pretty good considering I cut them with a jig saw and used concrete to smooth out the cuts and radius the corners. And I just seafoamed
The crap out of it and found out I have a bad motor mount.

Ha I miss that sound. It sounds diesel when those bearings go bad

 

It was bad. Its nice not havin people next to you in traffic staring like your ride is about to fall apart!

 

I seafoam mine one a year to pass emissions and it does run a lot smoother. Mine lasts all year.

 

I got rid of that sound but when I'm using my ac the car rattles at idle. However I ignore it cause I have ac but it is a little awkward when ppl don't understand the jeep thing

 

How easy is it to seafoam through the intake. Does it come with what you need to do it and I just Need to be in an empty lot to burn the crap out

 

Thanks. I got a 2'x10 piece for free. Gonna do door sills and some other parts soon.

 

I start off a spray some in the intake a couple of small shots so it doesn't bog the motor and choke it out. Take off the intake up to the throttle body so you can spray the throttle body a little.

Then I remove the brake booster and hold part of the hole with your thumb so it doesn't idle really high. It is a pressure line... spray a little at a time so it doesn't kill it. spray a little in the gas tank. i spray 1/3 in each of the 3 spots. at the very end I spray the last bit in the brake booster so it stalls the motor out. let it sit 15-20 mins and start it back up. It will be rough starting for the first min or so then it will start and smoke a parking lot out. After it stops smoking tunr it off and do an oil change because the oil will have a lot of the build up in oil when you drain it out.

Even the first time I ever seafoamed it I stalled it like 7 times and it never hurt anything .
