I wouldn't mount the fire extinguisher right on the A pillar just because a passenger entering the Jeep could hit the fire extinguisher on accident. Also, if you were to get in a crash, the airbag would probably hit the fire extinguisher.

Hey thank you boss. The extinguisher is the medium sized one. Its not in the way of the passenger or the air bag. I'm going to get another one and mount in the far passenger side window. The window without the door, right up in the window sill. The size of this fire extinguisher permits it, and they are only 12 bucks so two of them I think would be a good idea. One in the front and one in the back.

No problem man. I have one of those long skinny fire extinguishers so it'll go perfectly in the same place you were talking about in the back. I'll probably buy two as well, there are too many XJs out there that have caught fire on the trails. Most due to injector o rings but either way, I wanna feel safe lol.

Excellent guy to deal with. Their Tailbone is a swing away tire carrier kit that allows you to keep your stock rear bumper and the Backbone is a front winch plate kit that allows you to keep your stock front bumper

As for the engine overheat, it was only for about a min or 2 so there shouldn't be any damage. But because the XJ's are older and are made of thick sheet metal I only got about 5-10 dents from the hail. You should have seen it, it was a hail downpour, I bet you that if I walked five feet away from my house and back I would have gotten hit with at least 20 pieces of ice, it was freaking nuts!!!
