Nothing in or to my xj more about it. Met a girl who drives the same truck as me (bigger lift on hers but bigger engine in mine) who also knows damn near everything about dodges or jeeps like me and also has a project xj that happens to be an 80s model as well! FOUND A KEEPER!

Sounds slightly meaner when revving, maybe a little bit better pickup. The whole hot air thing is futile with the horrible design jeeps came with. The little restrictor had no insulation and it had holes so im sure hot air was present no matter what, maybe even more with the restricted tube. Resistance makes heat!

Nope goo-gone-ing and scraping with plastic putty knives
That works, I also have had very good luck with the solid (but flexible) black rubber sanding blocks, they seem to work better than scraping with a plastic putty knife.

Got my rear, driver side, tire fixed. I guess I didn't pick up all of the self tapping sheet metal screws i dropped in the garage....good thing my jeep did and not my wife's new Acadia.

replaced the .5" coil spacers with 1.75" spacers to level the Jeep out. With the weight of the winch and bumper I'm now at 4" front and rear. straightened the steering wheel, and also found out that the passenger hub is bad, the passenger side front axle seal is bad, and my steering box is bad. Time for a Durango upgrade!
