Leaks on passenger side when it rains. I know the fix...now to fix it.
Also, fixed my rear hatch that was a pain to get open. Adjusted the handle, tightened it up and sprayed it down with a silicone spray. Opens with one finger now.

It will live again I have a line on another motor to put in. Just nit looking forward to it. I have owned about a month now. I guess this is what I get for letting the wife drive it twice...

i found out my jeep likes to humiliate new(er) wranglers in the sense that I parked next to a coworker this morning. they sat outside about 14 hours in temps ranging from -5* to +10* before we both started our vehicles simultaneously. I believe his has 19k miles on it, 2012 model. nonetheless, his hesitantly started, misfired for a few seconds all the while clacking and knocking. mine fired up, idled smoothly and quietly enough for him to ask me if his **** was normal lol.
bear in mind I am a preventative maintenance *****. I'm sure the new starter, battery, and alt has something to do with my jeep's success regarding cold starts and general reliability. I'm also convinced the t6 oil and wix filter played a vital role seeing that the vehicle had been sitting in temps sub 5* most of the day.
either way, I feel like a proud father all over again.

Nope (though I'm sure it doesn't hurt), My XJ fires up just as easily in those temps with a 4 year old Walmart "Everstart" battery (not even the "Maxx" version) and reman starter and alt that were installed who knows when by the PO, I do have Rotella (T5 10w30, if I knew it was going to be this cold I would have gone with the T6 5W40) and a Wix (Napa Gold 1515) filter though.
I would say it was the Pentastar in the JK being DOHC (allot more stuff/mass for the starter to turn over and having hydraulic cam-phasers and lash-adjusters (noisy as hell until oil gets to the top end), but the 5.0L Coyote V8 in my 2013 Mustang GT is DOHC and has hydraulic cam-phasers and lash-adjusters and it fires up easily and doesn't make "weird" noises when cold (The Motorcraft FL-500S is an excellent filter with a very good anti-drain-back valve and it runs 5w20 synthetic though).
Maybe your co-worker had a cheap filter and/or thick oil, or maybe the pentastar is just hard to turn over (weak starter??) and takes a while to get oil to the top end.
