LOL, yes. It has 262K on it and looks like it. Their adjuster said it was worth $200 dollars. When I talked to their insurance they offered $600. I said I could get $800 so they offered $700 and the XJ back which I accepted.

One time my XJ wouldn't start at all. It would stall. Out of desperation I took it to the shop after I was able to get it going with very low rpms. They ended up charging me $180 in total for a dame TPS. I was pissed. I never take my XJ to shops ever since. But that's what I get for being to lazy to research on google I guess. I had replaced the tps last year from autozone but I guess it came out faulty. I could've just gotten a new one with the warranty. I felt stupid. I never forgave myself.

It's nice that you can afford to work for free.

I had replaced it last year so I was doubtful it had a bad tps.... No garage + 10 degree wind chill + my daily to work. It was either spend the cash at the shop or miss a day or two of work + the trial and error costs on parts like a tune up that probably wouldn't have needed at the moment.

Haha, I'm sure. Got some pics from the shop yesterday, posted them in the last page of build thread:
