A lot of this depends not on you but where you live. Moving from Lafayette, IN to Philadelphia PA caused our car insurance to triple. We were going to have to take that hit with every company because city rates are so much higher. They said people in Philly have a car accident every five years. This is my fifth year and my XJ got clobbered last Friday-- totaled. :-( But our insurance is picking up most of the tab, after the deductible of course. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I'm glad I stuck with full coverage.

I hate you lol if you include every ticket I have I have 2 speeding tickets and 1 running a red light, shoulda let the stupid cop rear end me instead of going through the YELLOW light so he wouldn't slam me. And I know 1 of the speeding tickets is old enough it shouldn't effect me and the 2nd I believe should be as well can't remember when I got it.
and i pay 1/2 that a month.

Wow I don't know how some people pay so much when they are young. I've been driving my jeep since 16 and only pay 30 a month, just liablity though. Its 65 a month for full coverage on my car, which really isn't that bad.

$140 per year, just liability but it is my second vehicle. The cherokee is is a 98, too old to be worth the extra money for full coverage. My main vehicle is a 2005, will probably change that to just liability in another year or two.

Man...I've been paying $140 a month for liability. And that was with the AMA driver's ed course, that gives you a full year of accident free driving right there.
